Geniux Review: Makes You Smart? (Really Unexpected Results)

Hi there, Rob here. A few months ago I bought a supplement called Geniux which has made a huge difference in my life. And you know what? It was pretty hard to decide whether or not to give it a chance because I couldn’t actually find too many customer reviews - especially any that went into the product in-depth. I’d been looking and looking for something to boost my brain power and everything I found before Geniux looked really dubious (lots of unnecessary additives). But then I found this all-natural supplement, and I really wanted to give it a try.

Great decision, as it turned out! And now I want to tell you all about it. It’s time that someone spoke up about this awesome supplement and everything it can do for you. A review like this would’ve helped me out when I was on the fence, so maybe it’ll help you out too.

I Couldn’t Focus on Anything

So let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 34 years old, and I work as a day trader for a living. I know, it’s pretty cool, right? Well, it’s also a really tough field. A lot of people have this image of day trading as some guy kicking back on a beach with a margarita while money piles up in his account. Nothing could be further from the truth. On a day-to-day basis, my job requires a lot of deep concentration and challenging decision-making. I work a lot more than eight hours many days of the week, and if my brain is fuzzy, I trade badly.

And then I lose money.

When I first started out with my profession, I was on top of my game mentally. It was a lot to learn and it wasn’t easy, but I woke up each day feeling sharp and ready to go. I had the clarity to make smart judgment calls. When I looked at the charts for the stocks and commodities I trade, I could instantly take in the big picture. I knew what price was telling me and what I needed to do. I was profitable.

Then something started to happen. I don’t know what it was … maybe just getting older. But that amazing mental clarity became swamped in a deluge of lethargy and confusion. When I woke up in the morning, it was always in a haze. I thought it’d clear up if I just got some exercise and drank a cold glass of water and ate breakfast, but it started sticking around longer and longer. When I looked at the charts to trade, I didn’t see the story of the markets anymore. All I saw were colorful bars and lines and lots of noise. I couldn’t do my job. I started losing money, and with it, confidence. Outside of work, all I wanted to do was watch TV and sleep. I couldn’t focus on the activities that I used to enjoy.

If you’re reading this review, I assume you may be in a similar situation. Maybe you also are tired of dealing with mental fog. I did talk to a doctor about my situation. All she said was I might have “chronic fatigue,” which she told me wasn’t much of a diagnosis since it could mean just about anything. I didn’t really feel tired, but my brain did, and after a while, that started to get me down physically as well.

Maybe you aren’t in that situation. If so, count yourself lucky. But perhaps you could use a boost anyway. You don’t have to be suffering from brain fog to benefit from Geniux. If you are as clear as usual but want to get your mind even sharper, Geniux can do that. How do I know? Because I am actually even sharper now than I was before all of this started—and it’s all thanks to Geniux! Seriously, if I had been using this stuff before it all went wrong, I would have been making even more money when I was younger.

What is Geniux?

Okay, I’ve talked a lot about me, but it’s time to talk about Geniux! Geniux is a fast-acting supplement designed to unleash your brain’s full potential. It’s a cognitive enhancement pill which can combat fatigue and enhance memory and information processing. It keeps you alert and boots your ability to concentrate. If you’ve ever seen the film Limitless, basically you can think of this as NZT-48, only in real life.

So that’s a bit of an exaggeration (duh!), but this stuff does work surprisingly well. It’s easy to take too. You just take one capsule daily on an empty stomach.

What the Heck is In Geniux Anyway?

There is a fair bit of controversy surrounding Geniux. There are a couple reasons. The first is that it is really challenging to find a full list of ingredients, though the company is very clear about what is not in their supplement (more on that shortly). The second reason is that a lot of people really do seem to expect the supplement to be like NZT-48. Please keep in mind that was a work of fiction! You need to have more realistic expectations when it comes to real life. Geniux is not going to literally turn you into a genius. What it can do is help augment the intelligence you already have by focusing it.

So what are the ingredients in Geniux?

Some of the ingredients in Geniux are these four listed by the company:

  • A-AKG: This stands for Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate.
  • A-KIC: This is short for Arginine Ketoisocaproate.
  • OKG: This is short for Ornithine Alpha-Ketoglutarate.
  • GKG: This stands for Glutamine Alpha-Ketoglutarate.

These ingredients actually are not included to boost brain power directly, but to increase the overall effectiveness of the supplement by carrying the compounds quickly to your brain. That’s what makes the pills so fast-acting. These compounds improve plasma amino acid patterns and protein synthesis (1, 2) and play a role in nutritional support (3).

I researched like crazy to try to figure out what else is included in the supplement before I even bought it. I really hate not knowing what I’m taking. So I cannot promise that this list is complete or necessarily 100% accurate, but to the best of my knowledge, these are the other ingredients:

  • Alpha GPC
  • Acetyl-LCarnitine
  • Acacia Rigidula
  • Theanine
  • Ginko Biloba
  • Phosphatidylserine Complex
  • St. John’s Wort
  • Glutamine
  • DMAE Bitartrate
  • Bacopin
  • Vinpocetine
  • Bee Pollen
  • Caffeine (Guarana)
  • Eleuthero Root
  • Gelatin
  • Tyrosine
  • Vitamin B6
  • Vitamin B12
  • Cognizin
  • Gluconolactone

If you navigate to this page on the official Geniux website, you will find a number of research citations, most of which seem to focus on the Bee Pollen, so I assume that is the key active ingredient in the supplement. Bee Pollen is a powerful antioxidant (4) and a source of energy (5). It has been used in traditional remedies in China for blood chemistry and memory function (6), though the jury is still out on its effectiveness (still, people have sworn by it for generations).

It’d take forever to evaluate this entire list of ingredients, but here is a little more information on a few more key compounds:

  • Alpha GPC. This is a type of natural choline. It has been used successfully in the treatment of patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease (7).
  • Acacia Rigidula. Research is lacking here, but this is believed to be a dopamine agonist. Researchers believe that dopamine actually helps motivate us to accomplish work and achieve good things in our lives (8).
  • Gingko Biloba. This is one of the best known supplements for boosting working and long-term memory function, and is backed by many scientific studies (9).
  • Caffeine. This of course is a highly effective natural stimulant. It doesn’t just give you energy; it also has proven benefits for cognitive function (10).
  • Tyrosine. This is an important dopamine precursor (11).

The other ingredients included in this formula have a huge range of health benefits. They can boost your immune system, improve your metabolism, lift your mood, balance your hormones, and so much more. When your overall health is in great shape, your brain functions at its best. If you research them in-depth, I think you’ll be impressed. As it is, I’m impressed with the results!

What Isn’t in Geniux:

One of the things that I love about Geniux is the fact that it is an all-natural supplement. If you scroll down to the bottom of the sales page on the official website, the company states clearly: “Genius does not contain any unnatural manmade compounds or substances.”

Before I looked into Geniux, I checked out a lot of other supplements, and on so many of them I found completely bizarre ingredients listed. You know the type … everything is six or eight syllables, and you look it up and find out it is some kind of a weird lab-created chemical. I’m a health-conscious guy; that isn’t the kind of thing I want to put in my body.

Geniux Benefits

When you take Geniux, here are some of the benefits you can expect. It:

  • Increases both short- and long-term memory. When you take Geniux, it can speed up your memory recall and help you pinpoint details you might otherwise have lost. This is true for both short-term and long-term memory. So you are less likely to forget the name that your new acquaintance just gave you at the trade show—but you are also less likely to forget that same name a month later.
  • Gives your energy levels a boost. If you are used to feeling mentally or physically fatigued (or both), you should feel less drained when you use Geniux.
  • Helps you to concentrate. If your mind wanders in a dozen directions or you just space out when you are doing tasks, you will have a much easier time focusing when you are taking Geniux. It not only helps you to stick with a task for longer, but also helps you delve deeper into it.
  • Clears up your mental fog. If you have a hard time staying alert, you will be relieved to know that Geniux is perfect for clearing that mental haze.
  • Speeds up visual processing of information. If it takes you a while to absorb information (whether you are a visual learner or not), Geniux can speed up the process.
  • Reduces stress. I’m not positive if this is a direct or indirect effect, but Geniux can definitely help you to feel less stressed and more relaxed. I guess this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Mental fog is frustrating. Feeling that fog lift is phenomenal.

What Geniux Did For Me

Now that you are familiar with the ingredients of Geniux, I want to tell you what my experience was like taking it. As I mentioned before, you just take one capsule each day. I took mine in the morning before I ate breakfast.

Day 1

The website for Geniux says that you should notice the effects within minutes, or sometimes even seconds. I didn’t notice any magical transformation in the seconds after I popped the pill on Day 1, but after a few minutes I did feel slightly less lethargic. I thought that might be the placebo effect, so I maintained a skeptical mind (just not too skeptical!). I wanted to be sure that there really was a substantial improvement, and that it really was coming from Geniux.

When I sat down to work that day, I noticed it seemed a bit easier to read my charts. I also noticed I was less tired and it was easier to focus for a longer time before I needed to take a break. It was a little easier to make decisions, and I ended the day with a profit.

After 1 Week …

It took me a week (not a few seconds or minutes, and not a day) to get to the point where I felt pretty sure that Geniux was having a real effect. I had actually completed my to-do list for the week plus a few extra tasks. I couldn’t think of the last time that had happened. It had to have been half a year or more, and it certainly hadn’t happened more than a couple times all year. Mostly I had been falling short of finishing my tasks, and I had been wrapping up my days really late. I actually got through my work on a reasonable schedule each day, and that was a big deal.

I should also mention I felt significantly more awake. Finally some of that relentless fatigue had dropped away. That was probably the first effect I noticed as something really substantial. That was a game-changer all on its own.

After 1 Month …

As the weeks went on, the effects really took a jump! The second week was much like the first, but on weeks three and four it seemed like I took another leap or two forward. I was actually ahead of schedule on a few days, and I was getting everything done that I needed to. After finishing up my work for the day, I was finding that I was able to tackle some other projects and hobbies I hadn’t worked on in months. I finally had the energy and the mental reserves available. Looking back over my trade results for the month, I also noticed my win percentage had gone up and I’d made more money.

After 3 Months (Now)

It’s been three months now since I started using Geniux. I’m happy to report I’m back on track! When I wake up, I’m still pretty foggy for a few minutes, but after I take the supplement and give myself a little time to adjust to being awake, I actually feel awake. I still deal with bouts of fatigue, but they’re no longer all day long. I’m not like the guy in Limitless, but I definitely find it much easier to focus than I used to, to pick up new information, and to remember what I have learned.

In fact, I just want to go over the benefits I mentioned again earlier, but this time talk about how those benefits have manifested for me.

  • Both my short-term and long-term memory have improved. With a job like mine, you are always learning something new. It’s like permanently being at university while holding down a full-time job. It is much easier for me to internalize new strategies now, and also to recall what I’ve learned while testing or using existing strategies. I notice it’s much easier for me to compare information across charts too and remember what I saw on the other charts.
  • My energy levels have been given a boost. I can’t tell you how amazing it is to not feel exhausted all the time!
  • I can concentrate! It’s really tough learning a new technique for day trading, especially when you have to scroll through chart after chart trying it out and learning it like the back of your hand. I’ve been soaking up new techniques so much faster now, and it feels a lot less tedious doing repetitive tasks!
  • My mental fog—gone! That perpetual “haze” that used to settle in my mind has finally lifted. It’s like a clear day inside my mind most days now, one where I can see to the limitless horizon.
  • The speed with which I visually process information has improved. This has been a biggie for me as a trader. Like I mentioned before, I was used to looking at the charts and reading the markets like a book when I was young, and the fact that I was struggling to do that before Geniux drove me crazy. Now I’m back to intuitively grasping what I see again. What a relief!
  • I’m more chilled out again. I can’t begin to say how much less stressed I am. It’s just such a relief having my life and my job back on track and finally feeling like myself again!

Who is Geniux For?

If you’re thinking that Geniux might be for you, but you’re not sure, here are the people I would recommend consider purchasing it.

  • If you are like me and you suffer from that sense of having “brain fog” and lethargy (maybe you have even been diagnosed with something like chronic fatigue syndrome), Geniux can work wonders for you.
  • Maybe unlike me you actually have a firmer diagnosis which points toward an actual cause (doctors aren’t too sure what causes CFS). If you are treating it and still need a boost to get your body and brain back on track, Geniux can help.
  • You don’t have to necessarily have a “problem” to use Geniux. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to take their cognitive abilities to the next level. If you are a student or a professional or an entrepreneur who needs to be able to focus harder and longer on solving a problem or completing a task, you will find this is an excellent option.
  • This is also a much better choice than endless energy drinks, which are really bad for you, or worse, amphetamines like Adderall. Amphetamine addiction is serious (I’ve seen it, and it’s ugly), and a lot of people are abusing drugs like Adderall these days. There is nothing “smart” about abusing a “smart” drug! If you want to really be smart, then pick a natural, safe alternative like Geniux. The effects may not be as pronounced, but at least there are no side effects or worries about addiction! You can use it safely over a long time period and enjoy moderate but excellent results.

Is There Anyone Who Shouldn’t Use Geniux?

There are some ingredients in here that can mess with your hormones, for example St. John’s Wort. For that reason you may want to be very cautious if you have a hormonal imbalance. Look up your imbalance and the ingredients to make sure none of them will make your imbalance worse. In some situations, the supplement may actually correct a hormonal imbalance, but you need to do your homework. So do it!

To All the Naysayers Out There …

I really don’t know why there are so many negative reviews out there for Geniux (and yes, they are out there; you probably have already seen them). I can only come up with a couple of theories. The first is that a lot of those “reviews” are actually left by competitors who are trying to knock down a product they are too scared to compete with. The second is that these reviews are coming from people who didn’t have realistic expectations when they used Geniux, and really thought it’d make them superhuman or something. Nothing can do that! It doesn’t mean this stuff isn’t great!

Tips and Tricks for Getting the Most out of Geniux

Here are some tips and tricks I learned for taking Geniux:

  • Try to take it on an empty stomach. I don’t know why, but it seems to work better when you do.
  • Don’t go into this with crazy unreachable expectations. Nothing is going to turn you into a genius. Geniux will only enhance your existing abilities.
  • Pair it up with a nutritious diet rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals that you need to function at your best. A good exercise routine and plenty of rest helps too. In short, Geniux isn’t going to make up for a poor lifestyle! But it can enhance the effects of a good one!
  • Use the stuff consistently and keep on using it. You may feel tempted to skip days, but I found that Geniux works at its best when you turn it into a habit. Stick with it over the long term and you’ll get the full benefits.

Pros of Geniux:

  • You get an awesome burst of energy from using this supplement. It’s one of the first benefits I noticed.
  • This supplement really delivers when it comes to cognitive enhancement. It is so great being able to really focus again and get a lot done. Not only do you feel better while you are working, but you end up becoming a lot more productive if you are motivated (and it helps with that too—remember the dopamine!). As a result, if you’re like me, you end up making more money and feeling more confident and accomplished! So this is a supplement that benefits your whole life.
  • There are no nasty additives or side-effects. This supplement is 100% natural. The only “side effects” I noticed were improvements to my general health like a lighter mood, better digestion, and actually some benefits in the gym as well.
  • It’s super fast-acting. Benefits in seconds? Nah, but within the same day, sure.

Cons of Geniux:

  • It’s impossible to hunt down a full ingredients list, so you’re stuck relying a little bit on faith when you take this. Still, we have a pretty good idea what’s in it. And at least there is scientific backing for the ingredients that I did find.
  • It isn’t going to change your life in the blink of an eye, and it’s not going to turn you into a genius. But what did you expect? There are no magic pills, dude.
  • Geniux is kind of expensive, but not too bad in light of what it gives you. And for me, the benefits literally made up for the costs. I’m doing better at work, earning more, and easily offsetting the cost.
